Three members of Metro Assembly of Faith in New Orleans are nominated for the 2017 Nola Gospel Awards. “We are very proud of our members for the dedication to build the Kingdom of God beyond the Sunday Morning experience,” said Pastor Ro Wright. “Not only are they dedicated to our church but they are just as effective in their own ministries and that says a lot about their passion for Christ.”
Metro Church’s Praise & Worship Leader, Casme Barnes, is nominated for Gospel Single of the Year for her powerful single, “Break Loose”. Our church’s Youth Minister, Jermy Tassin (commonly known as ‘Lucky Lou’) is nomiated for Gospel Rapper of the Year. Metro Church Musician, Strother “Smooth Stone” Davis IV is nominated for Gospel Musician of the Year.
“All three of them take much passion in using their creative abilities for Christ. It’s only fitting that God rewards them for their commitments. Metro is behind them 100% and we will be in the house to root them on,” said First Lady Sandria Wright.
